One specific hill in the Sonoma Valley (California) become famous worldwide after Microsoft decided to make a windows bitmap picture out of it -naming it ‘Bliss’- before making it Windows XP’s default wallpaper.
The original picture was taken in 1996 (5 years before XP was released and before undergoing its bitmap transformation) and a second picture taken in 2006 shows what the hill has become since.
