The Sacred giggles collection – Praising Gelos

The Sacred giggles collection - In the Greek mythology, a character whom is only rarely mentioned is Gelos (Risus in Latin), the latter being known as the God of Laughter – weirdly, the word “Daimon” is also used here, go figure… Legend points out that Gelos had the power of making anyone laugh, by words, touch or even by thought, so maybe such attributes could in some cases be perceived as evil as no doubt that they could easily be used unbeknownst against him.

But let’s just focus on the bright side of the story for now shall we, and why not even cheer him one if ever in the mood to do so, after all we owe him so much….
