Last year we had treated you to a first collection of pictures dedicated to the Star Wars saga, and the time has now come to release our Episode II.
What’s the latest news on the Star Wars front? Well for those who would have somehow missed out on this important piece of info, since our last post Disney purchased Lucasfilm for a price of 4 Billion dollars and shortly after the firm revealed that a new trilogy would see the day as from 2015. No need to say that the announcement has “slightly” rattled the Star Wars lovers, whom aren’t really sure what approach to give to a trilogy not conducted by George Lucas …
Even though evidently Walt Disney studios are far from being noobs and are well-known for releasing breath-taking motion pictures, how faithful will they be to the real deal, how will the fans react and is the saga in danger? Only time will tell I guess.
In the meantime, a casting leak reveals a few hints regarding who will feature in Episode VII, see for yourself:
- Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.
- Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.
- A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.
- Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.
- A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.
- Forty something male, fit, military type.
- Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.
But for now back to our collection of Star Wars goodies; we have split the latter into 3 categories, Knowledge & Humor being the first 2, then with Christmas less than 3 months away, we’ve added a selection of possible Star Wars prezzies that could find their place (or not) under any purists Christmas tree this year.
Wishing you a force-tainted PMSLweb moment!

Wishing you an intriguing PMSLweb moment!
Puzzle Alarm Clock
If you are of those whom no matter what just tend to doze back off to sleep after hitting your snooze button every morning, then have to face a panic attack when you realize that once more what you thought was 5 minutes turned out to be 30, the Puzzle Alarm Clock could be an interesting option.
For 40$ you can experience the thrill of having to put 3 puzzle pieces into the correct slots in order to mute the device.
You’re a “die hard”?
Thanks to Shay Carmon in a near future you may get the opportunity to shock your toasts back to life! While sadly for now this gadget is only still a concept, no doubt that many of those who missed their opening in a medical career would finally reach inner peace…
Barbuzzo Throwzini – 6 Piece knife set + block
Because we all have that special person who gets our blood pumping (ex, co-worker, mother-in-law…), this gadget will turn even the most “circus recalcitrant” person into a passionate knife throwing artist. While some at first may deem that its price of 88$ is quite an investment, please bear in mind the stainless steel product will probably last you a life-time… a life where no doubt you will encounter a great number of pestilences.
Hot Tub Boat
Surprise your significant other and friends by treating them to a private “Hot Tub Cruise”! Just when you thought that you had seen everything, you will be delighted to learn that the website hottubboats allows you to rent one of his leisure vessels, proposes memberships and offers you to even purchase one if you have 20/40k sleeping in your bank account.

Irritated by the fact that drips of your favorite hot beverage always end up finding their way into the saucer? Well why make the most of it and add a zest of craze to “coffee break”. Erdem Selek has designed an original porcelain Maze Coffee cup that can be found in various places on the net for around 28$.
Finger Food Plates
While we all get a kick out of finger food during parties & receptions, what we enjoy slightly less is having to walk around holding party toasts and others once we get dragged into a passionate debate for instance. Not only do most of us end up with anchovy cream all over our fingers as a result of the timeless snack gripping – and while we can be tempted to stick the whole thing into our mouths our interlocutors may not really enjoy the sight – but in case we need to urgently top up our glass we are then left with only one vacant hand. This dilemma can be corrected once and for all thanks to the “Finger Food Plates”. Fred & Friends 10 pieces reusable plastic finger/plate set is sold for around 10$.
Have you ever been tempted by a tattoo but have ruled out the idea as you are not ready to commit for life? Here’s an original solution you may want to look into as you now have the opportunity to go off to the beach one morning (or to a UV cabinet in winter or even just by applying self-tanning lotion if you’re in a rush) and come back with an amazing tattoo which will last you a few days pain-free –except if you choose the first option and expose yourself too long of course! Put your creative skills to test, design and cut out your motif, you can even use an old shirt, tan and there you go!
F U Lamp
If ever you’re considering the redecoration of your home sweet home, why not set for this gorgeous lamp designed by Andrea Maestri. No doubt that your guests will be intrigued and breath-taken by the touch of Zen you wish to give your household. The F U lamp can also turn out to be a fantastic and intimate gift idea to a special “someone”. Price is available on request.
We owe the “Ass-Speaker” to designers Younes Daneshvar and Javad Yazdani. Composed of one subwoofer and two butt-cheek speakers, this jewel of technology can connect to more or less every device via Bluetooth. To activate the latter one must gently smack the central unit which responds by a small glowing redish light appearing, then in order to increase or decrease the volume you will need to rub any of the cheeks using a circular movement. No doubt that this gadget will find its public!
These days it’s become quite common for people to personalize their High-Tech universe, may it be in a practical or more fantasist manner. Here are a few gadgets we came across and thought we’d share with you.

Here’s one brilliant concept which has the merit of being original, useful and entertaining! Each of your guests will now be able to inform you of their presence by playing their own little tune at the door thanks to this Piano Doorbell designed by Lil Jianye. While still listed as a concept the latter seems to be available on various websites with a price range of 20/50$.
Also available on the market….
In a parallel universe
What does the future have in order for us? Some of the following gadgets could turn out to be an interesting input in our everyday lives while others…. not so much!
The very first video game we have on record is “Tennis for Two” which was developed on the Donner Model 30 analog computer in 1958. The latter was then followed in 1972 by a much more “elaborated” version, the one and only arcade video game “Pong” (Atari Inc) which is known to be the ancestor of all the breathtaking games you can come across today! Back then, hitting a little dot back and forth of the screen in order to score points was an amazing breakthrough which provided a tremendous amount of entertainment; those of you who discovered video games that way will not be able to deny while the latest generations of players may find it hard to believe for sure.

As from 1980 companies such as Mattel, Coleco or Atari went on releasing a handful of consoles, but suddenly encountered two very fierce competitors who finally won over the market as from 1983: Sega and Nintendo; Sega with its Sega SG-1000 followed by the Sega Master System, and Nintendo with the famous NES (Nintendo Entertainment System).
46 years after the “Brown Box” was released, the 5 most popular consoles are currently:
- The Xbox 360 (Microsoft)
- The Nintendo Wii U
- The PS3 (Sony)
- The Nintendo Wii
- The PS2 (Sony)
It may seem important though to point out that PC gaming represents 56% of the gaming Industry, that there are four PC’s for each Wii, seven PC’s for each Xbox 360 and eight PC’s for every PS3. PC gaming is known to attract the more “serious” and “hardcore” gamers while home consoles are considered “lighter” and more “recreational”.
Anyway, let’s get back to the topic as we are slighly going off-course, the weekend is now here after a terribly long week, and we would seriously be abusing if we started to oversaturate your fraglized grey matter with too much info & numbers in addition! The main purpose of this post being to treat you to a collection of funny video gaming pictures, some of which may ring a bell and kick-start a few smirks… so kick-off your shoes and enjoy!
Wishing your inner-teen a fun-packed PMSLweb moment!
PES versus FIFA
Graphics in FIFA versus graphics in PES : What’s your verdict?
Those who thought that the most impressive artworks now belonged to the past and had ended with the passing by of renown painters including Leonardo Da Vinci, Sandro Botticelli and El Greco (Renaissance); Rembrandt, Rubens and Bernini (Baroque); notable figures such as De Goya (18th), Oscar Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir or Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (19th) but also Pablo Picasso, Vincent Willem van Gogh and Salvador Dali – unforgetable artists of the 20th century – may want to reconsider their point of view as the 21st century’s art movement has seen arise a number of extremly talented individuals.
Today on pmslweb.com we have decided to visit a specific style which can be referred to as “Dimensional drawing/painting” and as you will see by the following, the term “Masterpiece” is perfectly adapted here.

Sometimes you stumble across various interesting pictures and facts that you tend to stop on, when they weren’t necessarily what you were looking for in the first place, because they suddenly catch all your attention; may they be interesting, quite funny, intelligent or even sad.
On Piss Myself Laughing we have decided to dedicate a post to these findings, and the latter can differ from one subject to another. Some may make you smile, some may get you thinking and some may make you sigh, while others, well… will just peak your curiosity.

On May 25th 1977, George Lucas released the first episode – well the 4th actually – of what was probably to become the most famous film saga of history : Star Was – A new hope; which was to be followed in 1980 by The Empire Strikes Back and the Return of the Jedi in 1983. These movies featured and made famous actors such as Mark Hamill as “Luke Skywalker”, Harrison Ford as “Han Solo”, Carrie Fisher the casts female character as “Princess Leia” or Alec Guinness as the Jedi Master “Obi-Wan” Kenobi; but also others whose names you may a little less be familiar with (then again all depends on your degree of fanaticism!) as while you definitely will recall the characters they embodied, not sure that 100% of you would do all that good during a blind test – and please Star Wars purists do not get upset…you know what I’m talking about here…the people behind the masks, such as Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), or the two men who gave life to Darth Vader aka David Prowse (Darth himself) and James Earl Jones (his voice) without forgetting a special mention to Frank Oz, “Yoda”‘s voice. The 21st century then gave birth to three other sequels of course, The Phantom Menace (episode I) , Attack of the Clones (episode II) and Revenge of the Sith (episode III)…but what follows is dedicated to the original three, so let’s cut short….
Why, did you think it wouldn’t apply for him?
